All through out this chapter I was impressed to notice that there wasn't anything about her Dad said/thought. Instead, it was about Jason and their "break" from each other. I noticed even small random things made her think of Jason. You know how when you have something on your mind and the weirdest things remind you of it?
Another character was introduced, Kristy Palmetto. Macy kept noticing her scar(s) which reminded me of, "Gill" from Finding Nemo and his "scar". They both have that mysterious type of personality where when you first meet them, you are unsure of them.
I imagined the setting of this wedding where Macy is helping out with catering as very hectic and busy. To me, it sounds much more stressful than enjoyable, at least for the caterers.
I was happy for Macy because during the wedding, although she was working it gave her a chance to not be alone at home and a chance to get away from all of the stress in her life. But, I don't think it was a burden to her, I think she liked it.
